Great ATV Trails in the Colorado State

The state of Colorado has a lot of ATV trails to choose from. If you are looking form ATV action. Colorado is your place. More than just trails, ATV tracks in this particular state are world-class and the experiences they bring are more than just the average. As for the sceneries, the Colorado ATV trails have lots of them.

The Keystone area is a great place to start if you are in Colorado. The place has fantastic trails that includes the well-known Red Cone/Webster Pass. Another great trail, the Radical Hill, is also worth a try. Linked to the Red Cone trail, Radical Hill is the place to be if you want some ATV fun on elevated grounds. Radical Hill peaks at an elevation of 12,801 above sea level, so jetting is really a must. The Vail route is also worth a nod.

The Northern Crested Butte Area is the home to the Slate Pass and Gothic Roads. These two trails are the perfect place for ATV novices to hone their skills and get some vibe of the tougher trails ahead. These area trails also has some beautiful backcountry scenes along the way. However, if action is what you are after, check the Gunsight Pass, Schofield Pass, and Crystal River. These trails are tough and rough, no doubt. And they attract a lot of ATV riders because of the challenging terrain.

Advanced and experienced riders may try out the St. Mary’s Glacier, which has to great trails that offer serious challenges. St. Mary’s terrain boasts of many miles of uneven land and great scenes. Linking with St. Mary’s is the Empire Trail. Not much, but the Empire route is also worth a try for riders who just want to spend all day blitzing through their ATVs.

Texas Creek , which runs alongside the Arkansas River and situated in Central Colorado, is another ATV trail worth dropping by. If you are thinking of taking this route up, better prepare for some heat, since the area is smacked in a high desert mountain. The temperature can really burn you out here. Speaking of mountain, you might want to have the proper jetting since you will be riding at 9,000 feet above sea level.

The Eastern Crested Butte area is reserved for those who really want to test themselves and their ATVs. The trails in the area, the Pearl Pass followed by Taylor Pass and Italian Creek Road, are the most challenging series os ATV routes in the whole state of Colorado. The three trails connect to become a loop and also offer great scenes on the background. The Eastern Crested Butte can also be accessed from the Aspen road.

If you want to fuse ATV riding with trout fishing then Taylor Park is where you need to go. This ATV sanctuary has got some awesome trails for dirt bikes and have cabins ready for lodgers who want to experience great nature tripping. If you want some water action, just check the Taylor Park Marina and enjoy a day boating or fishing.
